Costal Condritis -- is an inflamation of the costal cartilages that hold the ribs on to the spine. It becomes inflamed because of repitious or heavy work. Advil, rest and gental movement are about all one can do to heal it. It is always there just waiting to flair up.
Happens when I do too much or too heavy a lift. Learning to not flair it up but am human and mess up some times. Last time I had just gotten my trainer, therefore a new program, gone shopping at Walmart and the grocery store and did my regular workout at the gym. Too much exercise all in one day! Was so sore the next day that I couldn't lift my arms to even brush my teeth. Forget brushing my hair. 5246 days ago
all this exercising, watching what I eat and portions is paying off. My diabetic med, Glyburide, was discontinued by Dr. Monchesky. Also I should not need the o.j. in my water at the gym.
my weight could be down more to suit me but the nurse and Dr. was happy with my loss from 204 to 184.5 ( works out to about 2LBS a month, when I was dieting). 5251 days ago

went to the gym in pain today. Did my cardio workout by starting with 15 minutes on the eliptical trainer and following up with about 12 low impact exercises from SP. Felt much better leaving the gym excupt that the US's storms have hit here with rain and winds. Not bad tho'. Will pray for those of you in the states that the storms there don't harm you. 5254 days ago
