    Thank your for all your blog comments. Isn't it amazing what society thought was "fat" years ago. If only I had been able to appreciate the toned, athletic body I had and not fussed over the number on the scale. Well, there's no time like the present to correct past mistakes!!

    I'm not tracking or counting food because I find that on the keto diet (see www.ruled.me) I am not eating very much! If and or when my weight loss plateaus I'll probably take a closer look at what I'm eating on this diet, but for now, my typical day looks like: Breakfast: Atkins bar; Lunch: two eggs, two bacon, 1 c. low sugar fruit; Dinner: 4-6 oz. meat, tossed greens with full fat dressing, Atkins bar. Sometimes I'll throw in a spoonful of peanut butter mid-afternoon, but that's basically it. I drink 8-10 glasses of water per day and workout 3-5 hours per week in the pool. Not hard to do because within a few days my cravings were gone and so was the majority of my hunger.

There's no question that I will need to refer to the words I wrote today over and over because food addict here.
