Former Four Year+ Maintainer (100 lbs lost)

1/23/16--Currently 70 pounds over goal, but I''m actively working on getting back to goal.
At least I've maintained a 25 pound loss for almost 5 years. I have to be proud of that.
I''m a single mother of 3. I'm working on living a healthier life, being kinder to my heart, and setting a better example for my kids of healthy living. I'm enjoying the challenges and rewards of maintenance!

* I had good intentions of keeping this^ up to date, but really lost track- somewhere in here, I lost 40 more pounds, participated in probably 8 more races, and started biking. This journey has really broadened who I am and what I do, and I love it!

I've been struggling with the effects of age/perimenopause on my weight goals for 2 years now, and I've experienced significant setbacks, but I'm not giving up!

Spent some time when I did just say, "whatever", and I'm still struggling. I stopped tracking, started again, stopped again, etc. I'm tracking again, and I really want to do this for myself. I'm tired, too heavy, and kind of miserable from carrying the excess weight.

I'm Michelle. I've lived in Iowa all my life. I have 3 adult kids, and one grandson.
My boyfriend of 14 years is an incredibly wonderful and supportive man. I am truly blessed!

Michelle Highest weight: 248 August 2010 Reached goal weight of 148 Feb 23, 2012 10/1/13-10/1/14-Gained back 50-peeling it off! 2/5/18---seriously!! 265--still struggling to get back on track 7/1/18 started logging on Spark again.
