I'm definitely gathering momentum in my life these days...upward mobility!

My Goals:
My main goals are to become healthier, lose weight, and exercise to increase my stamina and flexibility. I believe that stretching and increased mobility helps with my fibromyalgia pain.

My original weight goal was 160 but at this point that doesn't seem like a reasonable or reachable goal for me, I can't imagine ever reaching that weight nor do I sincerely care to, so I'm going to please myself and stop looking at the charts and change my goal to 204. I still can't imagine ever reaching that number but it's a nice even 150 pounds from my highest and I like things to be even....lol

My Program:
Last year I realized I was quickly approaching 40 and decided to make some big changes in my life such as exercising daily and changing what I eat and how much I eat. I've fallen off the wagon in a big way over the last few months and it's been hard to focus on myself for the last few months. I haven't stopped exercising completely but food is a real problem for me. I'm always looking for strategies to help battle my food compulsions! I give the term 'portion distortion' a whole new dimension! lol

I never imagined I'd say this but exercise is much easier for me than diet. I've never been thin so it's an abstract concept that's hard for me to grasp. I also don't struggle with self-loathing as some people do...sometimes I think it would help motivate me if I disliked myself. I'm just a little too comfortable in all this skin I'm in! lol

Feel free to approach me with advice or suggestions or even your own motivations and reasons for losing weight.

I'm just an ole redneck hippie gal...very down-to-earth and 'tell it like it is'. I'm from Indiana and have four kids, two of which are grown. I'm a music freak and love making graphics and webpages and spending time creating and sharing in my various groups and forums. I collect books and movies, pets, and kids.

Other Information:
Eat a bug first thing every morning and nothing worse can happen to you all day!
