Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am new here, but I am not new to the dieting world. I've dieted off and on from time to time over the years, mostly just to shed winter weight. Usually 15 pounds or so, here and there. I'm at it again. I thought I'd join to have somewhere to keep track of my loss, as well as a place to come for support and to offer support as well. My normal weight is about 165. Anytime I get down to 155, people start to say I look skinny, which is always funny to hear. They've just been so used to my size, that when I lose, it's really noticeable. The way I'm built, I carry my weight well, so people are shocked when I tell them my real weight. My goal is to get down to 150, and to stay there. My current weight as of today 5/4/09, is 173. I am 5'8''. I don't mind my curvy figure, I love it. I would like to see it shrink overall though. I've done it before, and I know I can do it again. I am engaged! I'm very exicted about it! Just extra motivation to lose this weight! Thanks again for visiting my page. My Goals:

My goal is to get down to 150 lbs. and to stay there. I am aiming to trim my waist significantly. It will come on its own with my overall weight loss. I want it slim & trim with no handles!

My arms, I gotta get my arms right. Nice and toned!

I want to become addicted to working out. Right now I'm not at that point. In due time, hopefully it will come.


My Program:
Workout at least 3 times per week, for at least an hour each time. Incorporate free weights into my routine, just as much as cardio, as they are equally important. Go for one walk per week outside since the weather's been pretty nice, and take one aerobic class per week. I do not want to get bored, therefore, my daily routines will vary.

I eat several meals throughout the day. I hate to feel hungry, so this works really well. I will not completely rule out real food, that's being unrealistic. But I will definitely make better food choices.

Consume 1200-1500 cals per day.
