I'm 40+ years old and I love running. I finished the C25K program several times and I met my first objective which was to run my first 5k before I turned 40. Ya!! What followed was some personal training setbacks (some out of my control), but I always returned to my love of running. This past year, I did not abandon running, but tapered off my training schedule. I am now on track with a new focus and new goals. I'm back with SparkPeople to help me achieve those personal training goals, just as it has in the past. :) Completed Actions: C25k program 1st Halloween Fearless 5k (10/2011) - 31.48 Virtual 5k - done Med City 5k (05/2012) 30:52 Color Dash - 2014 New goals Spring Summer 5k - TBD Monster Dash 5k - October 2016 1st 7k - March 2017 Bridge to 10k - future

My Goals:
My goals are to enjoy the foods that I eat without the guilt. I would like to be able to eat healthier and become a physically fit person.

My Program:
My focus is on maintaining my weight, lowering my body fat, and improving my form.

Committed to:

Eating no more than 1200-1500 cal/day

Exercising 1000 min/week

Running 3x/week

Pilates daily

ST 2-3x/week

Personal Information:
I currently live in Minnesota, have resided in Arizona but originally I'm from Canada. I live here in the Midwest with my high school sweetheart and my two beautiful children.

On a professional note, I finished my Masters in Nursing and I'm excited to be beginning the next phase of my career as a nurse informatician.

Other Information:
In my leisure time, I enjoy outdoor sports, boating, travelling, and reading.
