Hi! I thought I would let you know that I posted some pictures from a hike I did with a couple of friends today. These was a cactus in bloom and I thought of you so I took a picture so you could see it. There are many kinds of cactus flowers, but this type was the only one in bloom where we were. The trails we took today were 6.5 miles long and a lot of it was uphill. I'm tired! Time for bed!! I hope you enjoy the pictures; a little glimpse of nature in the desert. I need to start taking my actual camera instead of relying on my phone. There was a mountain we were on last week and there had to have been at least 50 butterflies and I couldn't get a single shot of them! They were beautiful!

Hi, I stumbled across your blog and absolutely loved it. As annoying as clutter is, it really made me smile that you put in words how I feel about my house right now.
Hugs to you, and be blessed!!

There really has been a lot of improvements in elder care. I think Arizona has made a lot of advances due to the large population of residents of retirement age. There are so many different types of senior living it's sometimes confusing. The company I work for specializes in housing for individuals in the low to middle income range. Individuals with "wealth" find it easy to find beautiful places to live that typically have hefty entrance fees. Senior management at my company are christian and it's a ministry as well as a job. We're non-profit, so any revenue we get in excess of expenses is put back into the business to better the lifestyle of the residents. Our range of services spans from independant living to skilled nursing. We have assisted living with the option of memory care at two of the campuses and home health services for situations with short term need or repetitive needs such as medication reminders or personal hygiene assistance. If you get a chance, check out our website at www.christiancare.org. I'm actually located at the Phoenix campus, but do periodically travel to all of the sites. I've been with the company for close to twelve years and actually had my father living on site before he needed dimentia care, which we didn't have at the time.
