I am a Music Educator. I want my students to see me leading a healthy, active and creative lifestyle! I have two sweet cats and a lovely home that I share with my husband. We love to walk and go on adventures! Slow and steady wins the race. I struggle with this! Even a half pound is still a loss!

    On my blog a day or so ago, you asked what style of music I was playing. I would call some of it jazz and most is music from Readers Digest series of piano music books which runs the gamut from 1890s to 1980s or so. Some of the residents enjoy "Mockingbird Hill" and others like singalong songs from show tunes to children's songs. Another favorite is "How Much is that Doggie in the Window." emoticon
