Try to make at least one person happy every day.
If you cannot do a kind deed,
speak a kind word, think a kind thought.
Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness
that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!

The Salt Path is a wonderful read - I passed the book on to another person, then another.......... and ended up giving it back to the shop (independent bookseller) so he could sell it again!

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Yes, I am increasing my distances gradually. I did my first 10k race a few weeks' ago, and have another lined up for September. I have also signed up for a half-marathon (my first) in December, and a couple of 'technical' races next year - one is a 10k and one a half-marathon - but both on the South West Coast Path - so tough terrain!

A long way from my C25k and Race for Life! Who'd have thought?!?!
