I love raising chickens. I am trying to get a good grasp on growing my own food. I am really sick with the processed and GMO foods available at the local markets, thus my journey to raise my own food. I deeply appreciate simplicity. Hustle and bustle, competition and materialism is not my thing. As I have gown older I find that I am just a country girl at heart.

I have struggled with my physical fitness all my life. Now in my 40's, I have deemed it is time to quit disrespecting the temple Yahweh has given me and repair it so it functions as it was intended.

My Goals: become fit so that working on my mini farm is enjoyable and not an impossible giant to fight everyday because of physical limitations due to my excess weight and diabetes.

My Program:
- Log all my food intake

- Log all activity

- Expend more energy
than caloric intake daily

- Create a social network
support base with others
on this same journey.

Personal Information:
I currently reside in Southern Idaho though I have spent most of my life in Southern California. I am a disciple of Yahweh and enjoy my relationship with my Creator. I also have a phenomenal relationship with my husband that began in 1995 that has been solid and satisfying with lots of twists and turns that has made our journey together fond to look back on so far. Finally, I have been in an adventurous relationship with my son who we adopted in 2005 when he was 5 years old. Never a dull moment with him! Watching him grow has taught me so many spiritual life lessons about my Father-child relationship with Yahweh.

Other Information:
I currently raise chickens for eggs, meat, compost, insect and weed control. I also am learning how to grow my own food. I am hoping to add either a few goats or sheep this next year for dairy, but I am still deciding which species will be the better one to go with.
