I've been trying to lose weight off and on for about 7 years. I'll lose 20 pounds, then put it right back on. I had a very tough year last year, I ended up moving twice because of my job. This resulted in me gaining everything back, and then some.
So, here I am. I joined in November of 2013, but I didn't really start losing till the end of December. I'm a vegetarian, but I'm working towards being a vegan. My main strategy right now is to focus on adding, not restricting. ...

So, here I am. I joined in November of 2013, but I didn't really start losing till the end of December. I'm a vegetarian, but I'm working towards being a vegan. My main strategy right now is to focus on adding, not restricting. By that, I mean I'm adding in a ton of fresh fruit, veggies, legumes, nuts, seeds, and anything that is whole grain. I do not want to feel like I'm on a diet anymore. I'm down 6 lbs, and I plan to keep at it.

[] Reduce my sugar consumption (in progress)
[] Eat tons of fresh fruit and veggies (in progress)
[] Quit being anxious about food, be totally confident in my decisions regarding what I'm putting in my body (in progress)
[] Start jogging
My Program:
I'm trying to follow what I learned from Forks over Knives. This documentary made a profound impact on me. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to be healthy and prevent future diseases.
I don't eat meat, and apart from a few foods containing traces of it, I'm off dairy. I still slip up once in awhile, but I just dust myself off and keep on going.
