    Hi Michelle - I saw you in the message board discussing emotional snacking "How to stop yourself from eating when not hungry?"

    Looks like we have about the same starting and goal weights. I'm at 154 and want to go to 144 by November (started November 05; haven't lost ANY). If I can lose 10, I'll try for another 10.

    What's working / not working for you? How old are you? Feel free to ignore these nosy questions.

    I'm 46 and am working out with DVDs/tv/video every morning - doing pretty well with this. Mostly hi-lo cardio and some fun step routines that I mostly do without the step. Also have a mini-trampoline - I do mostly free bouncing/jogging while watching tv - and I try to walk when the weather is warm. I'm in Michigan so we've just started walking again.

    I have an office job which doesn't help with fitness. I'm trying to walk on my lunch breaks, though. Um, what else? Oh, I struggle with emotional eating, esp at the office when I'm bored or stressed. Also since I just got married 4 years ago (I was a late bloomer, married at 42; now 46) - I'm still working out how to not let my husband influence me to eat. He's slightly overweight as well; neither of us has a really serious weight problem but I just think we need to eat fewer desserts and snacks. We try not to have chips in the house, so that's good. But we like to entertain so we often have desserts around.

    OK, now I'm not sure I shuld have posted this here. Check out my journal if you want. I hope this has a link there cuz I can't remember the name of my journal.
