Michiele - You won't be happy with the outcome of defrosting bananas, oranges and apples unless you are only using them for smoothies or baking. I freeze bananas all the time for this purpose in their skin. They turn black but are yummy in prepared food items. Look to your frozen food section for fruits that can be bought frozen, especially out-of-season. Berries, rhubarb (although really a veggie), mellons, grapes, mango, papaya, kiwi, etc. are all available cut and frozen and aren't at all bad defrosted and eaten as if fresh.

I have used the new Zip Lock vegetable bags (with holes in them) for storing cut veggies. They are great for items like mushrooms that can go mushy quickly. I haven't tried the green bags, but maybe others have.

Hi! Thanks for adding me as a friend. I see my old friend Lizzy63 here...I haven't run into her in a while! Don't get discouraged about the scale--if you are being honest with what's going in and getting a moderate amount of exercise, it WILL move eventually. Have faith and remember that you are improving your health, even if yoru body doesn't change right away.

Watch that heart rate. If you are in your 40s, that is probably too high for you. I believe your cardio rate should be somewhere around 144. That would be working at 80% capacity.

    Good luck on your journey!

I measure the full bust without a bra, ONLY because they no longer droop lol (reduction and lift)
I also measure under the bust, which gives you an indication of back fat inch loss.

You are not doing anything wrong!!

This is VERY common at the beginning.
What is happening is that your muscles are retaining water, and this is why the scale doesn't move, and can even go up!

Keep doing what you are and eventually the scale will catch up.
take measurements AND pictures, you can show inch loss even when the scale says otherwise.
