Back at it! I'm here for probably the same reason(s) most everyone else is---for a CHANGE!

Being a new RN is tough. What's tougher is trying to change an unhealthy lifestyle when you've been using it as a crutch for reasons no one can see. I believe in support and that it really does change lives.

That's why I'm here. I want to change. I don't want to be defined or held down by my struggles any longer.

Fitness Minutes: 1,567

My Goals:
Small goals:
1. Run a 5k -- 5.4.13!
2. Drink 32 oz of H2O a day
3. Do cardio 5 to 6 days a week.
4. Sleep 8 to 9 hours a night.
5. Prepare meals a week in advance.

Large Goals:
1. Run a marathon.
2. Lose 140 pounds.
3. Be completely healthy (mind, body, soul)

My Program:
Strength Train at least 3 days a week.

Cardio (my favorite is hip hop dance!) 4-6 days a week.

*IIFYM and counting cals
*Eat clean
*Low-glycemic (I have PCOS/metabolic syndrome)

Personal Information:
I am a newly licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who desperately needs to stay on track of getting healthy while starting this new, stressful career.

Outside of nutrition/diet/weight loss...

I love antiques, crafting and repurposing. My creativity makes me extremely happy! Just recently became VERY interested in hiking after traversing Mt Lemmon in Tucson.

Last, but not least...

I need to make friends. I think that has been my downfall in my weight loss/healthy lifestyle journey. I really don't have many friends who can relate to me or understand the struggles of being more than 100 pounds overweight. So that's another goal!

    How have your first couple days with your new meal plan and your trainer going? I can only imagine how stressful your new job is! Don't worry if you're overwhelmed right now, it will all come together! Are you working in a hospital?

    How's school going and how's the veggie life?

    I'm getting back to it and feeling good. A lot of changes around here - I left the big city and now am living in a super tiny rural town! Such a difference, it's so quiet out here and there's no drive thru's in sight. I left my job in February to persue my own cake business but seriously injured my back shortly after so I haven't been able to work on cakes :( I'm still recovering and not doing much so I've just been enjoying life - so strange not having a 9-5 job haha, still adjusting. Get in touch!!
