    Hi! Thanks for the friend add and for commenting on page. I am really excited about becoming a runner. I never thought I could do it. I might need to restart it again next week though. Saturday I took a fall while walking my dog and twisted my ankle. The ankle is still real tender and I don't think it would be wise to try to run on it for a few more days. But I am NOT going to give up! Just going to slow it down for a little bit =) Keep me posted on how you do for week 2!

    Thanks for keeping my FIL in your thoughts!! He's doing AMAZING! It's remarkable how much he's improved since he had the stroke! And by all means do a birthday countdown! It was SUPER motivating to get me back on SP knowing people were following!

    Wow! How exciting that you are starting a Psych degree this summer and that you have a plan for what you want to do with it! I don't have any plans yet. I work full-time as a writer-editor and am pretty happy with my job. I'll probably try to get my master's at some point, but I'm letting my husband finish school first. He'll be done next spring.

    Hmm. If I used my degree, there are 3 things I would consider: an Elementary School psychologist, a personal trainer/ life coach, or a substance abuse counselor. I think it is so important to identify kids needs early in order to intervene and make a difference, and I love working out and seeing meet their goals.

    As far as running goes, I started where you did! I walked a half hour each day and began adding spurts of running in until I could run for a half hour. Then I just kept adding mileage during the week and time on the weekend emoticon

    Another sparker convinced me that I could do a half marathon and I just ran with it. (HaHa) It is one of the best experiences of my life.
