Hello! My name is Maria. I'm back to SP after being away for some time. I originally signed up and lost almost 30 pounds and 3 pants sizes. I was feeling great and never thought I'd see the day that I'd be right back up to where I am now.. again. I was laid off and depressed and, well, I ate and drank myself right back up to that 30 pounds I had lost.. plus another 15. What the heck happened? Well.. I can sit here and say "Coulda, woulda, shoulda" or I can just hop back on and give it another go. So, here I am. Back at square one. I will not give up. I will be kind to myself and reach out to my fellow sparkies.. because I know I can find the support that I need here. So.. 3, 2, 1, GO!

My Goals:

1. Stick to the low-carb lifestyle. It's what makes me feel good.

2. Every other alcoholic beverage MUST be 8 oz of WATER.

3. At least 15 minutes every day must be spent exercising.

4. Check in SP once a day.


6. Blog once a week or more.

7. Tell myself something positive everyday.

My Program:
Track EVERYTHING. 1200 calories, including drinks!

Incorporating lunges, squats, and pushups while doing everyday tasks around the house.

Every moment I spend watching tv, I do something active during all the commercials.

*I love to sing, but have a terrible debilitating stage-fright. I want to overcome this someday.

*I'm a fashion fanatic.

*I'm in love with traveling, but lack the means to do it often.

*I love to read. I'm constantly reading and searching for answers to everything.
