Getting healthy and happy!
I want this page to be a reflection of my triumphs and struggles in my journey of self acceptance.
I want to reach a healthy weight more then anything else in the world. Seriously. But there are things in my life that need to change for this to happen. Oprah (corny, I know, but she's right) said 'It has never been a weight issue. It's a self love issue.'

I am lucky to have a beautiful sister embarking on this journey, too!

My Goals:
I don't know how many pounds it will take, but I want to get to a place where I look and feel strong and healthy.
I love to run and I want to be a faster runner. Also, I would like to complete a full marathon.
My Program:
I am using the calorie tracker.
I already run in the morning Mon-Fri. I plan to run a little longer and also on the weekends, too.
For Lent, I am giving up white starches, because I recognize that I can't control myself around them. I hope to get used to eating less of these, so after Lent I won't relapse!
