Do you ever just wish that you could rewind time and redo a part of your life? That's how I'm feeling right now. But the problem is, it's impossible (Doc Brown refuses to let me mess with the flux capacitor), so instead I'm forced to learn my lessons and move forward.

So rejoining SparkPeople is one way to do that. My user name actually comes from two of the big steps I took this past year, leaving a job that was toxic to my soul and moving to a new city. When I left, I so clearly remember a well-meaning young lady asking me, "is this all just a midlife crisis?" I told her, I didn't think so... mostly because I'm not *that* old, and I plan on living long enough to not make this my halfway point.

However, it was a "I'm tired of my current life" crisis. I was simply unhappy, my anxiety was through the roof, and I didn't know what to do anymore. I knew that changing my job and location wasn't going to fix everything, but it was a start. A scary start, but a start.

I am now caught in the world of "what to do now". And to be honest, I still don't know. My direction is so unclear and some days that is exhilarating and other days terrifying. The only part of my life that I feel like I can take over is my health. So that is what I'm doing. I'm going to make a plan, stick with the plan, and pray it works!
