    we were talking about Dance Dance Revolution. I still don't have a wii, but I used to play DDR when I had the game a couple years ago before someone broke into my house and took it.

    DDR is made for many systems- PS2 (prob 3 ?), Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii. There is a "dance mat" that comes with the game with 4 arrows on it. The game has a fitness mode that calculates how many calories you burn.

    You can buy a balance board for the wii that you do wii fit with, etc. I guess you might be able to use that as a scale to find out how much you weigh (not sure I've never used one myself- I inted on getting one when we buy the system).

    Can't wait til I get the system. You will know it when I do! Lol

    If you want to see an example of DDR- search for it on youtube. its pretty insane.

    Just thought I would stop by and see how you are doing? I am sure you are doing fine but it never hurst to ask. Are you doing any type of exercise? If so what kind. I ask becuase I am always looking for something different. Let me know how you are:)

    Thank you so much for reaching out to me. Congrats on joining sparkpeople. It has helped me sooooo much. I am a visual learning, so having a place to track my calories and exercise is a god send. If you want honesty...I am your girl. This is simple if you REALLY want to change your life. I have lost the weight that I have by staying within my calories allowed and exercising for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week and drinking water everday. That's it. Don't get me wrong...it has not been a cake walk but it has been easier then I thought it would be. The first couple of weeks were the hardest because you are breaking so many bad habits. You have to push yourself to get up and move. Just walking is a good start. The poeple on this site will help you though your hard times and praise you for your success. You will need patience for this journey. You did not gain the weight overnight so you can't expect it to come off overnight. You will be great. You just need to believe you can do it and you will succeed! I believe that you can do it. I am here for you at anytime. Remember....NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS! This gets me on the treadmill everytime. Glad your here. We can do this together:)

    Hey! Thanks for the add and the comment! I don't really have many secrets ;-) I guess one of the main things I've had to learn is to forgive myself and accept that progress may be slow.

    And I noticed something awesome... WE BOTH LIVE IN COLUMBUS!!! I live in Dublin. So if you ever want to go walking together or something I will definitely be happy to do that. I see that you have a Wii, we're getting one this month sometime-- LOVE IT.

    My advice is to get involved with motivating other people, read AS MANY sparkpeople articles as possible (you can sign up for daily emails- you get points for reading them too), and try to max out your sparkpoints everyday (this will help you stay on track).
