Hi. My name is Babs and I'm on the journey of a lifetime. I want and need to get healthier. In order to do that I have a lot of weight to lose, which means I need to eat healthier and be committed to focus on ME, eat healthy AND move more.

I work part time. I have many interests - besides my family and my church - which include reading and art. I love to draw, paint, colored pencils, water color pencils, water colors - you name it. I'm not professing to be a great artist. I'm merely telling you about a passion I have and a fun, expensive!, hobby that I have.

I need help on this journey. I have taken part in the 5% Challenges for several years now - spring, summer, fall and winter. If you haven't tried one of the 5% challenges, I encourage you to do so.

My exercise plan for the 2018 Winter 5% Challenge is to continue water walking/exercises and yoga. Yoga is becoming a favorite exercise AND stress reliever! I have discovered that doing some yoga stretches is wonderful to relieve aches and pains.
