Good day Mate ... ha ha ha ...
I'm currently living in Exmouth, Australia ( Western Australia). My husband is in the Air Force & was lucky enough to get stationed at the Solar Observatory for 2 years here in Australia. I love it in Australia and all of the beautiful beaches.

When I first came to SparksPeople was right after I had my baby girl, who is now 2 years old, and was desperate to loose the extra pounds. I have lost all of my baby weight and more but didn't use Sparks People to much. Well i'm back and ready to loose the last 10 unwanted lbs that just won't seem to go away.

I find myself looking in the mirror all the time and hating my body ... i'm sick of that. I'm ready to be happy about myself and love myself. I'm ready to tone up, change my diet, and kick butt in the gym. No more complaining when I can do something about it, right!? I'm in desperate need for some motivation and buddies.

My Goals:
In 12 weeks I will have lost atleast 10 lbs & 3 in. off my hips!!

Using body for life starting 6 Jan 2011.


My Program:
Since I have moved I'm not on the regular program I was on and has kept me in shape thus far. I had a amazing gym close to home and would attend Body Combat classes and Body Pump. Love them!!



Personal Information:
I'm from a Little town in texas called Freeport! It's right on the shore line of the gulf! I currently live in Exmouth, Australia with my Husband who works at the Solar Observatory for the USAF. We have a 2 year old daughter and love spending every min with her. I'm a full time student and stay at home Mom. Love my life!

    Hi! Sorry it took so long to get back to you! Lapses are inevidible. Just pick yourself back up the next day and that's all that matters! I wouldn't get in the mindset of "starting over"...just go back to where you left off. It's a lifestyle change.
    If you want it, it's all in your hands! Who cares what others are doing. You're doing this for YOU and all that crap wont make you happy. It will leave you exactly where you're at, wanting to change. Just put one foot in front of the other again, and keep going! I know you can do it!

    Hey! Yah turbo jam looks pretty interesting! Its starting to warm up finally here in wisconsin. Its 25 degrees today! ...that sounds terrible but its been around 0 for EVER! It feels warm to me. Im terribly jealous of your cruise. ;P I hope you have a great time! How long is it? Where are your port o calls? Talk to you when you get back!

    Hey there!
    Well I can honestly say I tried to follow P90X once and I hated it! The workouts are so monotonous and I started getting bulky...as the girls look in the videos...I still use some of them for workouts though like Plyometrics...that one is really good. But the cardio X would only allow me to burn like 150 - 200 calories in 30-40 minutes...which I can do 3 times more running...

    Also, in about a month I need to have a bone marrow biopsy to officially put me in remission from having leukemia...so I will be out of the game for at least a week...

    As of now, I put together a workout plan similar to Serendipity...shes one of my SP friends..you should check her page out if you haven't already! Shes making such amazing steady progress! shes pretty much amazing... I dont want to get a month into something like p90X and have to take a week or two off...so Im just doing this...

    Mon wed friday - 25 minutes of 30 day shred level 2 and 30-40 minutes of running

    tues thurs sat - hiking with 30 lb pack for 45 min to an hour

    Sunday - rest

    Im eating 1200 - 1700 calories a day depending on if I burn more or less

    I eat clean no sugar no processed foods and drink a little less than half a gallon of water.

    sounds pretty simple...I hope I can stick to it...I have TWO weddings coming up in the next few months...the second one in hawaii...I hope I can bust myself into shape before then!

    What have you been doing daily for workouts?
    have you tried a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before every meal? This has been working GREAT for keeping me full and also has numerous health benefits such as maintaining good blood sugar levels! ...Coconut oil is also my friend! ;P
