Marine Mom: I may look harmless, but I raised a Marine.

1/4/2020. Crazy how fast time goes by! No matter what! I am still healing from my broken fingers and sprained wrist from my car accident in late October. I am working on regaining my strength. But it is getting better daily. Thank you GOD. I will return to work on Tuesday! Yay...but yes I find myself a bit nervous as well. I know God has it!
My plan is to regain the strength I have lost in my left hand/arm. My weight is 125.2....pretty happy here I am using my fitness pal app for logging my food...I find it easier to use. I also find I earn far less calorie burn per workout 🏋️‍♀️ compared to here at spark. Just works for me:).
These past couple of months have helped me to see all that I am blessed with and what is truly most important. God, my family, and true friends 👫. My spark family is such a true blessing to me! Thank you al, for your constant support and encouragement. Here’s to a great 2020! This year I will turn 54...and I am welcoming it;). Everyday is such a true blessing! Together we will reach and exceed our goals ;) smiles.....

7/24/2019. I just started p90x3 on the 22nd it’s going well. The scale crept up a bit as I have not been diligent about my food intake. Back to counting calories. Aiming to be between 1200-1400 day. Been at it a week and going well. The scale showed a bit of a loss this morning. Say yay! Yes. I am one of those that weighs in daily ;). It aggravates me too ;). But it helps me to stay focused on my goal I’d like to get to 125-126 pounds by Halloween. I am just over 134 now. I want to get stronger and lose some fat.
In addition to p90x3 I am swimming, rebounding, using a weighted hula hoop,and walking . I also IF. Eating only during the hours of 11-7.

1/3/2019. Starting the year out at 131;). Didn’t gain during the holiday craze. That’s HUGE! Even kept losing weight, just not at a pound a week...more like an ounce here and there;). But still a win. I am working out hard with chalene extreme. I love these workouts and increasing the weight as I gain strength. I have been dropping inches...waist and thighs the most;) clothes fit better.
My goals thru June are to gain strength and drop a few more to see 125 Then I will go from there.

11/10/2018. Hi all. ;). I have been working hard with the shift shop program and recently added chalene extreme to the mix. I am loving using the weights and gaining some muscle. I have lost 6.6 pounds and am trying to stay focused on dropping a pound a week thru the rest of 2018. This is a hard time of the year...normally gain...but not this year. ;). Work has been stressful this year. So trying to stay positive;)

7/22/2015... I have 11 months before I turn 50 years young. I plan to be 10 pounds less and more tone....using an acronym for my fitness mission statement...

1/2/16. Revisit and time to reclaim this acronym=focus on goal. -10 pounds...firm up...stay in 25 point WW active
Will be back in February to update progress

1/18/2016. Down 2.6 pounds...working out and in calorie range daily..or less. Feeling great! Staying on course to meet or exceed goal! No wine/alcohol for 2.5 weeks. Haven't missed:)

2/7. Down 8 pounds :). Portion control..high protein...staying motivated with workouts and low end of calories. No booze;) Will report again in March :).

2/20. Down 10.5 pounds ;). 133.8. Changed ticker, pressing on..aiming now for 125!....emotional week...ate a bit too much and did have 2 drinks...small loss of 0.3....2/27...133.5. Pressing on...focus on my eats! Focus on goal ;)
3/10 not doing so well with eats...132.9. ...must focus..I can do this:)
3/25. Fluctuate between 130.5 and 131....need to stay on course with my plan. Today 130.6. Goal is 125. I think I have been comfy with this weight loss...feel healthy...clothes fit so much better...if not baggy :). But I want to be at the low end of my weight range and lower my BF before turning 50 and on upwards. Will report in a couple weeks. .no booze...log each bite...stay low end of calories. I can do this ;)
3/31 130.. I see 120ville coming! :)
4/20 128.5! So close...3.5 pounds to go :)

5/11 126.8:)
5/31 126.4 :). Slow loss...but loss. Seem to be happy here and not as focused. Still aiming for 125...

6/29/16 125.5 :). Not full goal loss but close. Wanted 125 by this date :(. Oh well goal set of 120 by Christmas:) FOCUS
7:31 124.3. -2.2 pounds...slow loss now and seem to play with the same pounds...aggravating but need to focus on the goal. I have recently noticed that I am notching in one more on my I need to do measurements! That's a win!
Sept 7. 117.2!! Did whole30 ...weigh in after :). Great results :) in clothes that would not fit , other clothes less snug. Will try to continue with W30 90% of time:)
Well sticking to w30 90% of time didn't work. I did do well until December. Not sure if I felt left out. But I have ate everything. Some weight has come back but not as bad as it could be. Jan 1st I will begin w30 I like it a lot ...feel better and definitely enjoy that I can eat a lot :). Just not junk.
I also plan to buy a heavier KB and heavier weights for my barbell. I am loving squats and the changes I am seeing with my backside. I don't want to be skinny.. I want to be strong and fit.
Clean eats

Cardio..walk..turbofire HIIT .rebound..dancing..etc

P90x3...decided to do the doubles program during the 6th week:). Like it a lot!

Started round 6 of p90x on 2/27! Completed 5/27/14!! Woot and still doing some of the workouts daily just to stay on goal!!

I am also now a Mom of a Citadel Cadet. He is his 3rd year at this highly ranked military college. I ask that you send up prayers for all of our students...everywhere and across the world...keeping them focused, strong , safe, and on GODs path.

Short term goal...
Lose 8-10 pounds. Firm up thighs....

4/17/17 139. Goal is 127 by 6/29/17. I have been back on track ..1200 calories or less for the last few days. The scale was up today...thinking it was too much salt. No matter. Still up. Will weigh in and update here often

I have completed round 6 of p90x as of May 2014! Woot!!

I am happily married to my dream guy. He is such a blessing to us. I love him with my whole heart. I have two wonderful sons . Our oldest son completed 4 years in the Marine Corp...woohoo he graduated from NASCAR UTI schooling...and has a great job!!! Just bought himself a beautiful home ;)
Our youngest son has graduated from the citadel in May 2016 He has recently started a great job that he likes:) Recently moved out and renting a house with a buddy
.We are so proud of our sons... Great sons!! Thank you GOD!! GOD is AWESOME.
I love my 2 sons.

    Thanks for the compliment, but I started out only having to lose 10 . I gained 25 lbs a couple years ago, & as i mention before I don't want to be there again.
    You're doing good emoticon to you, for losing also. Your almost there
    I love your new pictures, you're a beautiful lady. When you reach your goal tell your hubby, I said to say to him, LOOK OUT! I just can't find any photos,
    most of the pictures are programmed in our old computor. I have a lap & so does my hubby.
