I just turned 25 and moved from Oregon to South Korea. I'll be here for a year and I want to come home looking and feeling better than I did when I left. I'm a positive person who has struggled with weight her entire life. I want to change and I'm hoping the combination of my desire and willingness to work for it paired with the shock from this huge move and support from Sparkpeople will be just the thing to do it. Someday I want a family, but first I want to be healthy.

My Goals:
I want to lose weight, eat healthier, get more active (I really don't like the whole "going the gym" thing), lower my risk for cancer and diabetes, and get rid of my back pain.

My Program:
I'm going to do my very best to track what I eat on here as well as my exercise regimin. I found Sparkpeople workout videos on Youtube, which is what lead me here. Hopefully I'll find enough that I like to help me stay active when I'm not wandering around SKorea. Also, I'm really going to need support from people. I think that will help the most.

Personal Information:
My name is Mandi. I turned 25 right after I moved to South Korea. I'm an ESL teacher here. I feel like now is the best time to work on the things that have been holding me back.

Other Information:
I love traveling, boating, church, music, movies, fashion, interior design, spending time with friends and family, and working with kids.

I really do not like going to the gym and working out. I'd rather find an activity I like that also happens to be a great calorie burner. I think I run a few degrees hot because I seem to sweat easliy. yuck. But I guess I'm gonna need to get used to it if I want to reach my goals!
