Time sure does fly, hard to believe I've been a member of Spark for 6 years and facing the 7th. I've had many ups and downs as to how dedicated I've been, but as all Spark members know the road to health and wellness is bumpy. This year I lost a job I had been at for almost 15 years, but it was a blessing in disguise as my new employer is a company to really have a career and they stronly promote health and wellness with incentives and challenges. Since starting in April (and really since I joined my first challenge in June) I've lost 14 pounds. I feel better than I have in years. I'm thankful every day to work for a company that genuinely cares about the associates and their families. They understand the need for work life balance. In the coming year, I will continue my quest to be the best me that I can be, which will never end as we all have room to improve in whatever may be ailing us at the moment. God bless you all as we continue this journey together.

My Program:
I'm tracking my calories to stay between 1800 and 2000 per day.

I try to walk when I can work it in and just generally be as active as I can.

Personal Information:
I'm from WI. I'm married and have 1 beautiful baby daughter, 3 step-sons and 1 cat. I teach Sunday School and sing in the church choir. I love to read, cook, and play computer games.

    If you're looking for a challenge and ready to make a commitment....I have the challenge for you!

    Biggest Loser is the name. It's a 10 week commitment with 10 teams of 24 members each. Main requirements are to weigh in each week and do the interteam challenges (ITC's). Our inter team challenges) consist of exercise and nutrition. They are very helpful in losing the weight and inches and it's fun to compete with other teams for points. Individual teams might have mini challenges of their own. If you are interested, go to my spark page and click on the blue Biggest Loser team icon.

    I just wanted to say that I understand what your going through about slipping back into bad habits. Its been 2 years since I have been on here and I gained back the weight I lost. Good luck and I know you can be successful :)
