Hi everyone,

I have fought this battle all of my life and I have to get a handle on it or health issues will only continue to worsen.

I am a widow who presently lives in sunny Arizona. I am a transplant from the Chicago area where I left behind 3 of my children and 9 grandchildren. It is hard being so far away from them, but the climate is so much better for my health here.

I love the craft (all kinds), do beading, scrapbooking, and many needlecrafts.

I am a computer junkie.

I hope by rejoining SP that I can get a handle on my weight problem. I am not looking to lose all my weight fast, just slowly and keep it off. I am the worlds champion yo-yo dieter.

My Goals:
I plan on keeping a journal. For me that is the only thing that works. If I try to remember at the end of the day, you would think I was skinny because by then I didn't seem to eat much. I keep my computer on and will be adding it to my computer each and every time I eat anything. And I mean anything.

My Program:
My program is to take one day at a time. I have been dieting for over 50 years and have been up and down so many times that the yo-yo's string broke a few times. Now is is one day at a time. Period.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. At age 30 along with my husband and 4 children we moved to the Chicago area where we lived in the South Suburbs. In 1999 we moved to our retirement home in Arizona.

Although I miss my 9 grandchildren in the Chicago area so very much, I also love my new life style.

    Thanks for the comment on my blog. It's not that I'm not happy about the 2lbs. It's just that I've been here before, I've been bouncing back and forth from 135 to 130 for months now. And for the last couple of weeks I've been stuck at 135. So I'm not really going to celebrate my hard work until I've broke through that 130. I think I might try to do a cartwheel when I'm 129. lol
