Hello :o) -- why does it always feel weird doing these intros? I guess I'll throw some things out there, and if it clicks with you feel free to say hi or friend me.

I'm 50. Wow, goes by fast, doesn't it? Overall, I love life and want to enjoy it for as long as possible.

I'm a mom. I have an adult daughter who lives not too far from me; an adult son who lives with me (pays his bills/lives his life, saving for college-- a good kid). I have a teen son who is awesomely autistic. And I have a furbaby-- a 12-year-old lab/terrier mix.

I'm divorced a couple of years now. A romantic at heart, I look forward to finding love again.

I'm Pagan-- Wiccan, specifically. I'm fascinated by magic, but what I think it is probably isn't what you think of. I read tarot cards, I love going to Pagan festivals and drum circles, and I believe there are spiritual realms but I'm grounded and maintain a healthy level of skepticism about all things as well. Like I said, my beliefs are probably not the outlandish things you might be thinking they are, lol, so don't worry-- I'm not a total flake. I do like to talk about spiritual/religious/occult/supernatural things with people interested in those kinds of conversations. My faith and spirituality are an important part of my life and world view, but I don't push it on others or judge other people for their beliefs.

I'm originally from Brooklyn. I lived in FL during my marriage. I moved to TN after my marriage. I wasn't a huge fan of living in Florida-- except for maybe the beach. Oh, and Disney World. And maybe the fact that you could grow tomatoes and fresh herbs practically year-round.

Politically, I'm somewhat centrist between conservative & liberal. But when it comes to authoritarian vs. libertarian, plant me firmly in the libertarian camp. Admittedly these days I have more issues with Democrats (particularly progressives) than with Republicans, though.

I'm an artsy/craftsy kind of person. I love to create and try different creative activities.

I like reading, movies and live theater. I'm more likely to watch documentaries or youtube videos than TV shows. But I am and always will be a browncoat, so if you know what that is, hit me up.

I like gardening and cooking. I've never had a really big garden, though; just container gardening.

I love travel when I can- but I don't care much about nightclubs or fancy shops & restaurants or expensive hotels. I love road trips, singing classic rock or Broadway show tunes while watching the miles go by. I would love to get a gypsy vardo trailer and get on the road more, hitting all kinds of places across North America, camping in state parks, seeing the natural wonders, historical landmarks, museums, etc. My other travel dream would be backpacking through Europe.

Oh, yeah, I'm not really into video games but I do love The Sims 4. When I couldn't get out I'd live vicariously through the game and it's a real trip, lol.

I love to talk, love to laugh, love to goof around.

Right now I'm getting more into the gym. I've never been big on formally "working out" but I'm finding it's great for stress relief and it's growing on me.

My Goals:
Get my blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglicerides, etc. under control.
Reverse fatty liver disease, maybe even reverse Type 2 diabetes if possible.
Hopefully reduce my meds, if not wean off them entirely.
Make better choices, eat healthier, be more active.
Have more energy, feel better, be able to do more.
Lose weight, settle into something more healthy & comfortable.

My Program:
Not doing anything particular. Going to the gym as much as I can (4-5 days per week), eating less processed food, cutting out the worst junk food, trying to make meals more healthy and eat in better-sized portions.

Personal Information:
Not sure if I want to get more personal than everything I wrote above, lol, till I start getting to know you better
But if you wanna know something, ask.

Other Information:
...Other information..? Oh, the pressure.

Okay: the “dot” over the letter “i” is called a tittle. Just a little FYI. Hope that suffices.
