Lynda Loses It!


I'm a writer, an ex-runner, and a sometimes vegetarian. I'm ready to lose 30 pounds and get back into tip top shape.

Is it funny to say I'm fed up? I think so.

After too many months of not taking care of myself and being the workaholic I am, I'm sparking in order to let me become a priority again. Time for some ME time.

I never thought I had a weight problem until I took my measurements. I didn't think it had gotten that bad since I can still ...

I never thought I had a weight problem until I took my measurements. I didn't think it had gotten that bad since I can still pretty much fit into my clothes.

But the measuring tape doesn't lie - neither does the scale. Big boned? Perhaps. This big boned? No. :)

Fitness Minutes: 340

My Goals:
My first goal is to get as far away from 160 pounds as I can. As soon as possible.

My main goal is to hit 135 by the end of June.

My OMG weight goal is 125 by the end of the year.

My Program:
 *1200 to 1400 cal per day

*30+ minutes of exercise a day

*Strength training in the AM, switching body parts to give them a rest

*I want to restart P90X in May. That was an awesome program I did back in November, but then I stopped making exercise a priority...and here I am.


Personal Information:
I'm a writer, which is not good for the waistline. I dream of an office that let me burn the midnight oil and calories.

Other Information:
 I love coffee, the outdoors, writing, reading, watching Dr. Who, and hanging out with my husband, my friends, and my cats. It's a good life.
