This is a long and on-going journey for me. I'm glad I found this site - it keeps me motivated and on the right path.

Fitness Minutes: 16,895

My Goals:
Highest weight - 308 pounds 4 years ago. I''m down over 100 pounds at this point. I want to Lose 50 more pounds; get into better shape;eat to live. Most importantly I want to break through the 200 pound barrier.

(I broke through the 200 pound barrier and now I''m headed to my goal. About 30 pounds left to go.)

My Program:
I walk an average of 3m a day with my dog and spend at least an hour at the gym 4 days a week doing cardio and weight training. I''ve been doing the gym thing for the last two years and it has drastically reduced my depression and i know if i wasn''t doing it i''d be a lot flabbier than i am...LOL I recently taught myself how to run - and it has become a HUGE part of my life! Who would ever believe that I would like running?!! I strive for at least 5k per day - more if I''m running outside. It has definitely helped with changing my body shape. I''ll never quit - it''s the best thing I''ve ever done for myself.

Since my original post of my program I have become a runner - YES ME! A RUNNER! I average 5k 6 days a week. I want to start entering some races in the fall - I just can''t believe I''m actually doing it - I have always envied people who can run and now I''m one of them!

Personal Information:
I live in London, Ontario and I work in Sales. I recently started driving special ed kids to school - and I LOVE it!

Other Information:
Love to read, golf and garden - play with my grandchildren and my HUGE yellow Labrador Retriever - Dexter.
