It has now been 9 months since I made my commitment to life a better healthier life. There have been days of motivation and days of struggle. There have been victories and defeats. Through it all the one thing that has been constant is growth. Learning how to forgive and how to accept myself just as I am... as I become the person I want to be has been so powerful!

Goals Goals and more Goals....

Life should be full of them, and mine now is. Being healthy is not just a number on a scale, or a fitness achievement, or even a spiritual movement. It's all about balance, and caring for yourself, thats when things came full circle for me anyhow.

I have much more to learn, but I'm on the right road now, and I am winning! As I take a deep breath and look around I can see that anything is possible but it takes effort. I am now more than ever willing to pay that price!

My Goals:
1. to embrace life by strenthing my body with excercise
2. to nuture my spirit daily with daily motivations
3. to track what i put in my mouth and learn what triggers overeating, and to fuel my body with nutrition


My Program:
My program consists of daily trcking calories in and calories out. I also set a goal of 10,000 steps a day to include 5 days a week at the gym. Most importantly I want to learn from all the successful people here and to challange myself to become connected and to give back to others



Personal Information:
My name is Debbie and I live in Louisville Ky. I am 51 years old and a single parent of an incredible young man. He is my biggest support, lives a healthy lifestyle, and is a true inspiration. I am determined to love my life andto start living it to the fullest. For at least a decade I became so involved with work that i lost perspective, lost sight of what life has to offer. Now I want explore new challanges, to reach out and grab what ever life has to offer. To do this I finally reolize it is all about being healthy, and strong.

    The flowers and blossoms are filling the air with the smells of Spring. This is the time to start preparing for the Summer. Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of June. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.

    Again, great to hear back from you!! Yes, it was a much loved Christmas season. My latest blog will catch you up. I weigh on TUESDAY at 530pm with a short meeting following. I feel more connected this time. I REALLY want to get the weight off. We keep a written menu, which I didn't this past week with celebrating, or have to pay a fine. :) So glad you're still pursuing your goals. You make me proud to be your friend!! Hugs, mary

    Sooooooooo good to hear from you!! I'm not as "active" as I should be. I'm in and out of SP but have also been back sliding. I leave for vaca this coming Fri...going to Fort Walton Beach, FL with my kids for the week. I'll definitely be checking in on you. We have a lot to catch up on. emoticon BACK! emoticon

    I am so excited! I just posted my first challenge as a team leader! It is something we all can do! It's fun, doable, and we have 'plenty' of time to all be successful on it! It is called the "christmas time challenge- lose 12 by 12/12/12" It is in the motivation area of our team page. Ck it out, sign up! We can all achieve this challenge together!
