My name is Elise; I am 21 years old and just graduated from college! I will be starting law school in the fall, just before my son's 3rd birthday. I am ready to finally make a lifestyle change to benefit myself and my family.

I had a small setback over Christmas: I was down 10 pounds but I got lazy, stopped trakcing my food, and before I knew it I had gained almost 5 pounds! Shortly after Christmas (but before New Year's!) I decided I had had enough of my yo-yo dieting and my fluctuating weight. I focused on the quality, not just the amount, of foods. But more importantly, I have been exercising regularly. 5-6 times a week, about an hour a day. It's not rigorous but I definitely make sure I bust a sweat! Not only have I lost those 5 pounds, I have lost 4 more, and counting! It's only been a few weeks but already I am sleeping better and I have more energy throughout the day! I am really ready to make this a lifestyle change FOR GOOD!

My Goals:
I want to get down to 115 pounds. That means I need to lose 33 pounds! This is the weight when I felt most comfortable in my own body. I want to do this by becoming healthier overall: exercising regularly and eating wholesome foods.

My Program:
I am going to focus on portion control and the quality of the food I choose to eat. I really like using the Food Tracker on SP - often, I use it to plan meals, which helps me to not go over my daily needs. I will make sure I am getting the right amounts of carbs, fat, and protein.

I will also exercise regularly with a mixture of strength-training and cardio.

Personal Information:
I am 21 years old; my son, AJ, is 3; I am a student at the University of Cincinnati: College of Law.

Other Information:
I have the best and most supportive boyfriend there is. He is really helping me by keeping me motivated and on track!
