Hello everyone,
Here I am again, they say never quit, keep on trucking towards your goal. I took a very large detour but I am back on track starting today. I am going to give it my best shot once more. I am probably at the heaviest I have been in my life. The old saying is Fat and Happy, but that saying isn't true for me. I love life and I need to start loving the temple that is mine to enjoy and take care of for the time that I am here on earth. My goal is to be happy with my physical me and to gain back my strength and energy which needs to be refueled. I probably won't be on here posting but once a week because of my hectic work schedule but that doesn't mean that I won't be working hard to achieve my goal behind the scenes. I need to get healthy for me, and so I begin my journey with my head held high and determination in my soul, to be the absolute best that I can be. Life has so much to offer for those that are willing to enjoy it. It is my time, time for me to sprout my wings and soar above the trees and look down to what used to be and onto what will be the new improved me, I hope you will share any positive thoughts and inspirations that you have with me. Come join me on my new journey to be whole again, to be the me I know I was meant to be.. I am ready for the sunshine to be bursting inside me and all around me. And so the journey begins~

Fitness Minutes: 6,585

My Goals:
I would like to lose at least 30 lbs, the dr. says 20 but I know I feel better thinner. I would like to become more active once again, maybe join big sisters, and help mentor a young girl.

My Program:
I have changed to a 1200 calorie a day diet, trying to eat 5 small meals a day. I go to the gym on my days off from work, and try to add in a little cardio daily.

Personal Information:
I am looking forward to starting the second chapter in my life. I am very proud of my son. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education. My hope for him is that he find a job that doesn't feel like a job.

Other Information:
My favorite author is Dean Koontz. I enjoy watching The First 48, Dexter, Bones, and Law & Order.

    Hey Girl!!! How are you doing???

    I have upped my cardio to 90 minutes walking or 1 hour biking, or elliptical. I have to drop this weight!! I am flying out to L.A. in 2 weeks for my sister's 40th birthday party. It's amazing what a little motivation will do for you. ha ha ha She is a skinny little thing and so are all of her friends!! I'm her "heavy" sister from the midwest. ha ha ha

    Hi Chris! How goes it for a Monday? That's cool that you went to the Activate G'vlle. How did your stir fry turn out? I think it would be hard to screw it up. Zumba is fun even though I'm a total dork. If you have the chance, try it out. Maybe we could do something during the week sometime fun. Thanks for adding me as a friend. emoticon
