I'm 26, in lousy shape, and sick of my weight quite literally holding me back. Every day I aim to blog about the things I've done RIGHT during the day, as I'm sick of my own constant negativity and self-abuse.

Fitness Minutes: 2,568

My Goals:
-Lose 84 pounds by August 2010
-Run in a 5K on December 31st, 2009
-Next major goal weight: 185 pounds. This will put me in the "overweight" range for BMI rather than the "obese" range.

My Program:
I'm running 4 times a week and doing Pilates on the off days. I'm sticking to my alloted calories and eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. And I'm being POSITIVE!

Personal Information:
I'm from State College, PA, and currently work as a tailor. In my spare time I like to design clothes for plus size women, and hope to have an online shop running soon.

I also suffer from depression, and have since I was a teenager. Right now I'm in a pretty good cycle, and hope to keep it that way through good diet and exercise.

    You should get a Wii! I was sweating my ass off last night playing Super Hula-Hoop (though that may be because the heat was on, haha.) It is fun though, and it's nice to be able to get some exercise without having to "exercise."

    Yeah, it's honestly not that bad. More dusty than anything (the joys of having 3 critters who spend most of their time in your room)....I just hate cleaning! Which is why I'm procrastinating on here instead....

    The scale could just be wildly inaccurate, as well. That's the reason I weigh in at the gym. I've never found a home scale the was reliable. Although some of them are reliable enough if you only ever weigh yourself on that one scale. Otherwise you just get all sorts of crazy numbers from different scales.

    Although you're right, even if it is accurate, it's still the same number of lbs dropped, and you've made great progress in a short amount of time!
