I'm 26, in lousy shape, and sick of my weight quite literally holding me back. Every day I aim to blog about the things I've done RIGHT during the day, as I'm sick of my own constant negativity and self-abuse.

My Goals:
-Lose 84 pounds by August 2010
-Run in a 5K on December 31st, 2009
-Next major goal weight: 185 pounds. This will put me in the "overweight" range for BMI rather than the "obese" range.

My Program:
I'm running 4 times a week and doing Pilates on the off days. I'm sticking to my alloted calories and eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. And I'm being POSITIVE!

Personal Information:
I'm from State College, PA, and currently work as a tailor. In my spare time I like to design clothes for plus size women, and hope to have an online shop running soon.

I also suffer from depression, and have since I was a teenager. Right now I'm in a pretty good cycle, and hope to keep it that way through good diet and exercise.

    Yes, there is an upside to being nauseous for 4 days! If only I had stomachaches more often, I never would have gotten this fat to begin with! :)

    Well, the date went fine. He is very nice and we hung out for a couple of hours. We will probably hang out again, but of all the people for us to know in common, he is friends/acquaintances with the last guy that I (very briefly) dated (who I do not like at all.) So that makes me feel weird, and besides, I just honestly don't think I want to date anyone right now. I actually do like being independent and doing what I want to when I want to. So....kinda weird. I don't know. I guess I'm just not gonna sweat it; if he calls me again, we'll see where it goes.

    I think I'm just going to use the chia seeds in smoothies and maybe sprinkle them on salads...maybe I'll try making a gel from them but it sounds kind of gross. Maybe mixed in juice? I don't know.
