Had Roux-N Y gastric bypass on 11/18/15. Between health issues and esteem problems - this weight needed to come off! I started in the severely obese category. I am post-menopausal due to a complete hysterectomy '99 (9 months after my last son's birth) due to recurrent rapid growing fibroid tumors. I have been diagnosed with Type II diabetes, hypertension and GERD. I also have severe sleep apnea with hypopnea (O2 sats drop below 65% for long periods) and somewhat limited on what I can do without having to hit my inhaler or using my oxygen. However, I am determined to make my goal happen in 2016 of 125 lbs., hopefully by 8/22 (anniversary). In 20 years I pretty much became twice the woman my husband married. I would love to get back down to a reasonable weight - be in the healthy category instead of morbidly obese....
