It Can Only Get Better...


I've always thought that I could lose this weight any time I want to if I put my mind to it. The trouble is that my mind is always on food and what I will eat next. As I aged, arthritis and fibromyalgia nearly incapacitated me. One day I realized that I would never feel any betterthan I do right now unless I got the weight off. That realization was scary!

My short term goal is to be 15 lbs. lighter than I was at my last dr's appt.\\Update: I was 17.5 pounds lighter today than at my last appointment!

My Program:
 I'm participating more in SparkPeople, and I'm sticking with the low calorie plan the program has suggested.

    Yeah, some of the reps from the mortgage company keep trying to get me to sell my house to "get out from under" BUT there is no way I can get a two-room apartment for what I pay on the house, that has some land, is my own to do what I want with AND, most importantly, builds equity. I rented when I was single but that is a route I really would never contemplate again. It's just money down the drain with nothing to show for it in the end.

    Lorrie, there is nothing wrong with the flowered blouse you have on. I have worn solid dark colors all my lfe and I got sick of it. Why can't we wear bright colors with flowers or whatevers? You're a lovely, kind person--the heck with the people that don't you know--let them talk or look! You have them at least by 100% (hug) Noel
