    So anyting else stopping you then.. sounds like the house and kids can be handled for the little time you are asking for yourself.. remember. Just do it.. make a schedule and stick to it. that is what I have done. Keep me posted.. okay

    so true!! I've always been horrible about putting myself first. I think that is my biggest struggle with weight, stress, everything...i recently had to travel for work and was relieved to learn that my husband is quite capable of taking care of himself and the boys. I need to let him do more around the house and with the boys so I can take that extra time and use it for ME.

    Tuesday and Thurs nites I do the circuit and 30-45 on the treadmill.. Saturday mornings I am taking a Zumba class.. Just took my 1st one and I am hooked.. so I am going to take her Monday nite class too. I was going to do home video workouts but I think I want to do Zumba instead.. I will save the home workouts for when the weather is bad and I cant get to the gym. we have not had too bad snow yet.. but I know it is coming. You have to remember that even short workouts in spurts that may total 30 min.. is good too.. and even if all you do is 3o minutes. it is better than not at all. I am so committed to this.. you have to schedule time for yourself. I am no longer workinbg all the overtime I was.. that jsut resulted in 10 pounds coming back on.. not worth it. You have to take care of you.. no one else can do it for you. emoticon emoticon

    Hi Lois, Glad to hear about your inspiration of going to the gym! that's great! I;ve maintained a gym membership for over 5 yrs now...go on-again-off-again. I started going again as part of this year's New years resolution, only this time I'm attacking it with a slightly differnt mind set. Previously, if I couldn't spend 1-1.5 hrs at one visit, then I would think it was not worth the trip and I wouldn't go. This time, howeever, I'm trying to train my brain that going for only 30 minutes is OK. baby steps...baby steps...
    Do you do mostly solo things, or are you taking classes?

    Hi Lois, I'm sorry i haven;t been around for several months. Things have been extremely hectic and don't seem to be getting any better, However, I;m trying to fit time in for me once in a while. Let's try the 'I push you - you push me' thing again, OK??
