It's ABOUT time! I'm so DONE being the fat girl! DONE! DONE! DONE!
It took me over a year to get motivated to do this, yet again! I just quit stepping on the scale and caring about my weight. Mostly due from depression of losing 2 immediate family members in 8 months time, one of which was my sweet, petite mom. (((UPDATE: Im dealing with the deaths much, much better now, my depression has subsided along with all the positive changes Ive been making in the last 9 months or so. ie: gave up heavy drinking, quit biting my nails, started eating healthy and excersizing in Oct '09, basically I quit playing the victim)))
I knew this was coming, yet I still kept piling more and more on. I did this till I regained almost everything I lost in '05, which was around 100 lbs.
Maybe, just maybe if I had known then about SP, I would have had the tools to save me from myself, and this would be a story of me reaching and maintaining my weightloss.. Sadly, I'm back at the starting point.
But, ALAS, I finally found SP, thanks to a dear friend of mine that has done very well with her personal goals using SP.
I'm back on my journey.. Done Girl Style! Life awaits!

Update: 03.04.09 65lbs DONE! Lab results came back great! I dont have high blood pressure anymore. My cholesterol is good, my triglycerides are good, liver enzymes are good. No signs of diabetes! Everything came back normal! I feel so blessed to be my age and no health problems! (doin the DONE Girl dance!) not to mention how much better I feel! I did mention that Im SO DONE?? :))

Update: 06.23.09 0.5lbs DONE! LOL yeah this is a milestone! That half pound made me a healthy weight according to weightbot for iphone, 24.8!!! YAY! and I finally broke thru a 12 day plateau with that half pound. I think I see a "light/lite" at the end of the tunnel. lmao

Update: 07.11.09 Joined Aspen Athletic Club today. It's a fantastic gym and I'm loving it. I gave up on Curves a while back, and started doing my own thing at home but I just felt like it was time to move up to more challenging workouts.

Update: 07.15.09 REACHED GOAL!!!!!!! Im OVER the moon! 99 LBS DONE! Gone Forever!!!!! THANK YOU SPARK PEOPLE!!!! I could NOT have done this without ALL the Support and Resources!!!

Update: 07.18.09 So far maintainance is real good!
I still seem to be losing inches, which is always a good thing. I wore a Sz 4 shorts to work the other day. YAY! I went into Old Navy and tried on some shorts in Sz 2 and small top! Is that not crazy??? but in all honesty I think Old Navys clothes run real big. I didnt buy them tho.I did buy a pair of shorts at Wal-Mart in a Sz 3 and a small top.These are JR sizes, people! Maybe their clothes run big too??

Update: I decided I wanted to lose 5 more lbs. This morning I lost 1, total loss 100 lbs DONE!!! so 4 more to go! I also changed my ticker to 105 ttl.

Update: 08.18.09 105 lbs DONE! I reached my personal goal! YAY! Who knows I just may shoot for another 5 and see what happens?

Update: 09.11.09 110 lbs DONE!! WOW I havnt been this thin since 1982.. its a bit strange but a good strange... :-) I am now wearing a sz 2, 3, 4 or 5 depending on what and where I buy my clothes. sz small and some extra-small tops.. I think Im thin enough now... Lose no more...

09.13.09 Update; I lost 1 more.. hmm Im not trying to... but I'll take it anyway.. lol so, thats 111 lbs lost... NOMORE! wow never thought I'd ever say that about my weight...IM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: 09.16.09 maintainance is good.. however, I did drop one more lb, and have maintained that 3 days in a row... better down than up I say. LOL Im wearing a size 3 in almost everything, 4's and 5's are too big now.. Im wearing mostly small tops, sz 36B bra. The gym is really transforming my body, I'm seeing legs on me like I've never seen before... uhh like toned.. lol I still have a bit of loose skin, but it is looking better. Thank Goodness for clothes!! I gotta tell ya'll if you havnt done a water aerobics class, you need to!! Not only is it very fun but I have seen some amazing results in my body since I started doing it... its WONDERFUL for the core. I love it! Muah!

Update; 9.22.09 Changed my ticker to maintenance mode to give myself a 5lb fluctuation.. so far I'm maintaining very well.. within 1 lb, but I'll probably give myself more leeway for the upcoming holiday's.


My words of encouragement: (with updates as time goes on)
1. DON"T Give Up On What You Want MOST for what You Want At The Moment.
2. Love yourself enough to change for the better.
3. Believe in yourself. YOU are worth it!
4. Stay on track. A year from now, you can either be Slim, Fit and Happy or you can remain the same, Overweight, Unfit and Miserable.
5. Keep on Keepin' On! It really does become a lifestyle, which in turn makes it easier and easier.
Well wishes for anyone that is reading this!! It can be DONE! if you want it BAD enough.If I can do it anyone can too!
6. Remember there is NO try! You either DO it or Not do it. This goes for EVERYTHING in your life. It's ALL about choices.
7 Mindless eating=Fat and Unhealthy
8. Mindful eating=Thin and Healthy
9. Journal everything! This really helps ALOT!!
10. Take lots of photos, these serve as good reminders of where we've been and what we went thru to be Healthy. upon weak moments, pull the photos out, look at them and Hug yourself. You gotta be your OWN best friend and cheerleader!
11. Ignore the* feeders* as I call them.. They LOVE to TRY to sabotage, but for me they just made me stronger, because Lord knows I've been tested like you wouldn't believe.. But I let NO-ONE get in my way of what was right for ME. MY HEALTH and well being were at stake here. I didn't have time to be unhealthy and lazy anymore.
12. Ignore the haters once you reach goal, they come outta the woodwork to tell you you've lost too much weight.. (rolling my eyes) Don't hate me coz you ain't me! lolol
13. It's not too late, it's NEVER too late!
14. Never give up!
15. Exersise.... enough said. :)

1. Eat healthy foods in ladylike portions.
2. Exercise regularly.
3 Drink lots of water.
4. NO more *get fat* fast food.
5. Stay with it, coz Im frikkin DONE!

Im just making wise choices and using portion control. Excercising at least 3 times a week. The food & fitness trackers here are AWESOME!
This is not a diet, this is my life...
