Introduction Text My name is Lisa and I am 31 years old. I live in Florida....yes where the climate is hot and humid and everyone is beautiful and walking around 24/7 in tiny little shorts and barely there shirts or bathing suits that are more like dental floss......that is excpept for my 5"9 230 lb. self. I had a full blown hysterectomy (took everything) about 2 years ago and before that I had 2 other surgeries within the same year. While having the hysterectomy since I would no longer be able to have anymore children (which I wanted by the way) I decided to try to make the best out of it by getting a tummy tuck. Well, that might of been nice if someone would have said why bother you are going to get fat again.....lol I have a 13 year old daughter and have been divorced from her father for over 10 years and I am married to my husband James who is in the military. Our family is not the normal "Leave it to Beaver" type family but we do alright. I no longer work due to my concentration level is terrible since the hysterectomy and I was trying to take a break before I snap...now I'm trying to get back on the saddle so to say and find a job that fits the new me better (which is not easy by no means)...but that's all about me and I'd love to hear about others. Happy stories and or bad stories. I'm the kind of person who likes to give advice and receive it also. So, I'm hoping that maybe I can do some good for others out there and maybe some others could help me.

My goals are to get smaller of course but for some reason it is not happening for me...so I guess for right now my goal is to feel comfortable in my own skin and keep up the pace and not give up on it and hope that one day my body rejects the fat and kicks it off...LOL

I exercise pretty much every day in front of the TV on a step machine or walking outside and then every once in a while I will break into a jog but if you see my pic below it is kind of painful now due to the extra weight I carry up top...I eat well and do what I'm supposed to with my water (I'm lucky I love water)...and I also do Tae-Bo and a step DVD 3 times a week.

I am from Omaha, NE. but moved to Florida when I was 5 so basically I am a native of Florida. I just turned 31 in December on the 18th and it's not been the worst but definitely not the greatest either. But, I hope that it can't get much worse. I am a happy person who likes to make people laugh.....I like to be the center of attention and not in a bad whiney way but everyone look and listen to me way. I loved to hang out with my friends and my daughter and her friends. We are pretty close and I hope it always stays that way...it's definitely been harder since she's turned 13...but we are constantly working on it daily...and some times by the minute...LOL But, she is a great kid and I would not give her up for the world. No really...LOL
