I've been battling with my weight most of my adult life. I'm the classic yo-yo dieter - have lost big amounts of weight a few times and then gained it all back :( Now that I am over 50, it seems so much harder to lose weight. It's time to make some serious life style changes and get things under control once and for all!

Some short-term goals:

1. Lose 20 pounds by Christmas
2. Do a cardio workout at for least 30 minutes 5 days a week
3. Do my nutrition tracking every day
4. Start taking my vitamins every day
4. Get through Thanksgiving weekend without gaining any weight
5. Get through the 2 weeks in England at Christmas without gaining any weight

My Goals:
I want to get control of my life, lose the weight I need to and get in good physical shape so that I can enjoy life with my wonderful husband for many, many years to come!

My Program:
I am committed to taking the following steps:

1. Stick to the calorie suggestion given by my nutrition plan
2. Do 30 minutes of cardio and 15 of strength training 5 days a week.
3. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
4. Spend less time sitting at the computer - walk around more!

Personal Information:
I am settled for now in North Carolina, USA. Married to a the most wonderful, supportive husband any woman could ever want! Currently a housewife although looking for a new job so we can save up for a house. My passions are computer gaming, knitting and crocheting, making jewelry, and reading. Too many sedentary things! I also love hiking and hope to do more of that as my fitness level increases.
