Hey there, I'm Lisa. I have been trying to get into shape and eat right for the past few years. I go good for about a month and then something happens that makes me lose my workout groove and then I start eating junk again. Maybe this was because I was trying to go at this all alone. Well, right now I am trying something new. I have joined Curves and work with a trainer. It's time to get this done and get it done right. With motivation and support, I really think I can get it done.

**2 Months Later**
I have been going to Curves consistantly over the past 2 months. Sure, I do have those days where I just don't go, but they are very few and far between. I have also been somewhat eating right. I am still working on getting enough water everyday. As long as I keep at it, I know I will get there. The good news is, even with the slip-ups here and there, I am losing pounds and inches. I am starting to get it done!

**5 Months Later**

Still chugging along. Thinking I was eating the right portion sizes and eating the right things and working out, I wasn't losing very much at all, a pound here a pound there. I was about to lose my motivation because I was going nowhere.

2 Weeks ago I was at the local Rite Aid and saw a diet starter kit called Lean for Life. I bought it. Now 2 weeks later, I am 10 lbs lighter and 10 inches smaller. Awesome! That was the kick I needed to keep going!!!

My Goals:
My main goal is to stay consistant at working out and eating healthy.

I am setting my weight loss goals in 10 lb. increments. When I reach the 1st goal, I will adjust my ticker for my next goal.

My mini goals are:

1) Complete my 1st 6 weeks of the LEan for Life plan.

2) Continue going to the g ym at least 5 days a week through the month of October.

** Lose my 1st 10 lbs. (no time limit) - Goal met on 7/12/09!

** Lost my next 10 lbs. (no time limit) - Goal met on 10/20/09!!

3) Lose 10 more lbs (no time limit)

My Program:
I am a Curves member. I workout there at least 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes.

I try to eat as healthy as I can and drink as much water as I can.

Personal Information:
I'm a California girl!

Other Information:
I have 2 kids, one girl and one boy. I love photography and the beach...

    Have you been able to get closer to your goals? Or did you get to even meet your goals? I’ve been working pretty hard all summer. I’ve gotten closer to my goal.. but I’m not quite there yet. I found this really cool quote online and so I decided I wanted to share it.
