I have always struggled with my weight, usually it was just 15-20 extra lbs. When I 1st joined Sparkpeople in 2009 I had not yet reached my pre-pregnancy weight. Now after a stressful 12 months (unemployment & health issues with my dad & oldest son) I have passed that mark. This year I am determined to do SOMETHING. I am going to set small goals for myself and reward myself healthfully. I am going to truly smile and not try to hide my "chins." This will be my year starting today! Starting now!

My Goals:
6 lbs per month...

My Program:
I am adjusting to working 40 hours a week in 4 days. So I am taking it slow...

I have made arrangements to take a 10-minute walk while at work M-TH.

I have also found some Zumba workouts on YouTube that I will do M, W, F for 20-30 minutes. This will help until I buy the Zumba workout DVDs.

I will do strength training 2 days a week for at least 20 minutes.

Eating 5 meals a day:

6:30/7:00 am Breakfast (325 cal)

10:30/11 am Early Lunch (300 cal)

2:00/2:30 pm pm Late Lunch (300 cal)

6:30/7 pm Dinner (450 cal)

8:30pm Evening Snack
(100 cal)

Eat between 1210-1610 calories each day.

I plan to write at least 1 blog per week - usually on Friday night as a summary of my week.

Married since 3/1991 (20 years!!!!!!!!!!!)

Mother of 2 sons. Our oldest son just finished high school a year early - homeschooled. He started his 1st job - McDonald's. Our youngest son in entering homeschool high school

My parents are still living and have been married to each other for 52+years.

I have 2 sisters ages 40 & 23.

My best girl friend and I have been friends for 30 years.

Other Information:
I'm taking it 1 snack and 1 meal at a time.
