Hi,my given name is Elizabeth but most of my friends call me Liz for short. I have made various attempts to lose weight and at one point I did lose 40 pounds but bad habits crept up and I gave up. I recently started my quest to get healthy again. I joined weightwatchers in October of 2011 and so far have lost 10 pounds. I am also trying to exercise every week.

Hi I haven't updated lately. I had an awesome weightloss this week. I lost 8.2 pounds and altogether I have lost 21.8 pounds so slowly but surely I'm making progress. I've slacked off the exercise lately but I'm trying to get that going again.

Haven't updated for a while. The last 3 weeks I had gains but this week I lost 4.6 when I went to my weightwatchers meeting. I've been struggling all summer with losing and gaining the same 3 pounds but I think I am back on track now. I got lax over the summer and didn't track and watch my portions as closely as I should have. I really worked on that this past week and it paid off with a good loss. I have lost 22.6 pounds since October and will keep on going. I hope to get to 25 pounds soon.

My latest update this week. I went to my weightwatchers meeting on Tuesday Oct. 2,2012. I lost 3 pounds this week and have lost 25.8 pounds altogether since October 2011. I have also increased my exercise. I have been swimming 4 to 5 days a week for the last month and some days I am able to work in an hour of swimming. I think I have also lost some inches also. It is encouraging to keep losing weight. I still have a long way to go but I am making progress.
Today,Tuesday October 16,2012. I lost another pound today when I went to my weightwatchers meeting today. I've lost 26.4 pounds now in a year. I know it may be slow but I keep going down so slowly but surely someday I will win the race.

Today is December 4. I have stayed about the same lately. I go up a little and then lose a little. I haven't been swimming as much lately but I did go today. I hope to go a few more times this week.

Today is May 30, 2013. I had a good weigh in this week. I lost 2.4 this week. I've only lost a pound since the beginning of the month. I had some ups and downs but I'm going in the right direction again. I've lost 28.8 altogether since October 2011 so I'm getting close to 30 pounds lost. I am hoping I will make good progress over the summer and continue on a downward trend.

I haven't updated lately. The summer I had a few ups and downs but kept on trying to lose more.

September has been a pretty good month. I've lost about 4 pounds this month. This week in weightwatchers I got my 10% keychain which is recieved when you lose 10% of your starting weight. I came close a few times but finially got it this week. I've lost 33.6 altogether since I started weightwatchers October of 2011. I went to the doctor this week and I've lost 14 pounds since I saw him last in February. He is pleased with my progress so far. He said as long as I'm making a downward trend in losing hi is happy about that. In February he diagnosed me as prediabetic and I've been trying to cut down on carbs. I'm still prediabetic but he said my glucose levels are stil okay for now. He said to keep watching my diet and exercise and I will probably imporve my levels as I lose more weight. My goal is to get my glucose back to the normal levels and I think I can as I keep losing more and paying attention to my diet and exericse. I will see him again in November and I want to lose at least 10 more pounds by then. I've had a loss every week since the beginning of the month except one week where I had a small gain. My challenge will be to stay on my program and keep exercising during the holidays but my goal is to keep doing it.

I haven't updated in about a month. I went to weightwatchers and lost 4.4 which was a great loss this week. I wasn't expecting to lose that much. I have also been having my glucose checked when the pharmacy tests it on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and this past Saturday it was 97. That's the second time within a month that is has been in the normal range and it's a lot lower than it was in the summer so my hope is my doctor will say I'm back to nomal ranges soon. I will see hm next month so I will see what he has to say about that. I've lost about 5 pounds this month and I've lost 38 pounds altogether so I'm getting close to 40 pounds lost. Hopefully I will be there by next month.
