I have been married to the love of my life for four years and we desperately want to start a family. We have been trying for the last few years and have not been successful. I finished my teaching credential last June and in the process of looking for a teaching position. I substitute teach and love what I do but would love to have my own classroom!

My Goals:
My goal is to eventually get back to my orginal weight whichi s 150. But I am making my goals in baby steps. I can't wait to get under 200!

My Program:
I am trying to work out at least 3 times a week. If I can go everyday even better. I am looking for ways to incoperate excercise into my life like walking my dogs, or taking a class. Other than that I am trying to make better eating choices. My biggest struggle is portion control!

Personal Information:
I am 34. I live in Fresno ca. I have been married for 4 years and we are ready to start our family! One of my main reasons for wanting to loose this weight is so I can have an easyier time getting pregnant and have a healthy baby! Can you think of a better reward!

Other Information:
I love spending time with my family. I have 3 dogs who are my babys right now. Thye are very spoiled and very smart and I am not above boasting about them and showing off pictures! I love reading and going to the movies and of course shopping. I have my teaching credential and hope to have my own classroom soon!

    SparkPeople Translation
A well-lived life is not for the timid. The world was never meant to be approached with extra caution and fear of making mistakes. Kids know that you have to jump in feet first and be willing to take some lumps on the head if you're going to have any fun at all. When did we stop trying new things? Why did we stop taking risks? In large part, we're afraid of screwing up. We've settled into our comfort zones and don't want to look like a fool, to ourselves or others. What's the price we pay for our pursuit of perfection? No growth, no sense of discovery, few real experiences. The sacrifice isn't worth it. Are there points in your life that you wish you could have back because you didn't pursue an idea or a new interest? Those chances are gone forever -- but you'll have more in the future to take full advantage of. It's been said that most people don't learn much that's new past their 20's. That's an awful long time to stay stagnant. The only mistake you should be afraid to make is not trying.

Hello, fellow Fresno Team Mate. I hope this post finds you in good health and spirits.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Anna, I am so excited about being part of Spark and part of the Official Fresno Team, that I am reaching out to all the Spark Fresno Team Members in hopes that we can create a more productive and active team.

The goal from the founder (Chris) of Spark was to help as many people as he could to reach their individual goals. We are so blessed to have this site to help us with our endeavors of reaching a "healthy lifestyle". So as part of my excitement and joy of having found Spark People, I am trying to get all our Fresno Team members involved in "healthy lifestyle" changes.

We all need support and motivation. And this is a great place to get it from. But in order for each of us to benefit, we need to get involved. We will be blessed a thousand times over when becoming involved.

The Team Leader, has put up a new thread "Meet & Greet Meeting" in the Official Fresno Team Forum, which is supposed to take place on Aug 22nd, 2008. Please stop by this thread and RSVP as soon as possible.

Please come and be an active member in the Official Fresno Team. I would love to be able to share with you in endeavors to reach your goals!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Hope to see you, first of all, in the threads and second of all @ the "meet & greet". If things go well in re-sparking our fellow Fresno Team Mates, I would like to start a "Challenge".
