I'm deathly allergic to peppers, so when the Man walked by and saw them on the screen he asked me "just who did you annoy that much?". We had a fun conversation about my (our) tendency to speak a bit bluntly (which can cause some issues with strangers) before I reminded him that the entire planet is not necessarily aware that I'm allergic to the things...
We did get out for a couple of great day trips. He only took a couple of days off, but we got up to the top of Limestone mountain (photo on my page) for a picnic on one day, and then in to the YaHaTinda ranch for a short hike and a picnic the next day. I'm not up to our previous 10 hour hikes (yet), but it's still great to get away from the city and in to the hills. Both spots are out of the tourist areas, so there are few people but lots of deer, moose, elk, and wild horses. We've seen a few bear around there, too, but no cougars to date.
Nice to hear that you're busy with getting back in to the job - hope that you're getting some great times with the Mister during your time off! 1680 days ago

Just read your comment on fad diets about needing pics of Paleo. I have tried every stupid diet there is, that being the most recent. I gained 15 pounds on that one!!! I think Paleo will be added to the list soon enough, it's still too new I guess.

Hush your mouth, woman --- Jeremy Wade is a god to us fishermen! Besides, the Man likes to critique his fly-fishing techniques, so it's educational, right?!
Just don't get sucked in to Swamp People --- that's the one where the Man and I compete to see who can catch the most changes in rifles in a single "shot" on a gator (I'm winning as of last season - 4 different rifles used in a "single" shot! I'm guessing that the film editor isn't much of a hunter...)
You've just reminded me of what my "project" should be this weekend --- get the treadmill turned around so that I can at least watch the TV instead of the blank wall. Now I just need to recruit 4 strong men and a tribe of minions to move the flippin' thing...
