I used to be real active here a few years ago. I lost a decent # of pounds and got stronger, but I fell in rut. I went back to school and between that and trying to take care of my family, I forgot about my health again. I swore by time I graduated college, I would be in a better place - but it just didn't happen. I've been out of school for 2 years and I've lost a few more pounds, but it comes in spurts. Also, I can't say I felt as good as when I was the most active on here. So, here we go again. Re-makeover time!

I've been married a bit over 12 years. Together we have an awesome 11 year old boy with autism. I let autism provide me with excuses for a few years, but as he became more high functioning with therapies, I wanted to put more time into myself. Now he's in school all day and sometimes seems like a typical child. So maybe there's a chance I can live to see grandchildren. Maybe he won't have kids, and that's ok, but if he does - I'd like to be here to enjoy them!

I recently switched to a part time job due to just not feeling well and overwhelmed with stress. I'd like to get back in a place where I can handle full time again.

I'd love to say one day that I'm at goal weight. But, most of all I really want to get stronger, faster, feel better with more energy. I want to continue hiking as much as we do, but I want to enjoy it even more by handling it. We have a trip to the Shenandoah mountains in June, so it's time I get moving again.
