I am so SCARED I wont be able to do this--I've thrown out my back(the dangers of arthritis and a bad disk) but once it was better I continued the exercise. I'm watching my food...high fiber/low fat and trying to EAT--starving won't help me. But sometimes I just feel like I'm not GETTING ANYWHERE! The scale says I am--but very slowly. My inspiration tells me not to think of the big number--a pound at a time...and I try, just want to start SEEING a difference, not just FEELING it!

My Goals:
I need to lose! Not only to look better but to feel better. 35 lbs would thrill me 45 pound would astound me! With a bad back this will be a challage, but in the end it should also help with that pain...

My Program:
At the moment I am watching what I eat, not obsessing. I will only drink water and herbal stress relieving tea. Oh, and walking..stairs instead of elevator, parking a little further from the store....and the treadmill. The dog is also enjoying this walking thing!

Personal Information:
Originally from central Jersey I have moved to the beautiful Adirondack Mts about 9 years ago. I coach the local HS cheerleaders and have two amazing girls of my own. I've found that the long hard cold winters don't inspire me much-I guess I'll have to find something other than eating to battle the cabin fever that sets in around December. The rest of the year makes up for it though with boating, hiking, swimming, gardening...I love my garden!
