Back to my old ways and up to the highest weight ever. I recently bought a UP2 by Jawbone and have started tracking my crazy eating. I still don't have cravings. I do daydream about food though.

My brain has changed. That's the only way I can explain it. Something has clicked on in my brain. No more cravings, no more daydreaming about what I am going to eat next.

At my highest weight again (almost 200 lbs again). Medical issues are beginning to arise (high blood pressure). Time for a new me in 2014.

Slowly, slowly the weight is creeping up - not good. I am still off the cholesterol meds, however when I take a home test, it's always around 200 (borderline). Here's to getting serious and getting to goal weight.

Well, here I am 41 and at the same weight as 12/09 - which is fine - the last couple of months have been tough. Time to focus again.

Countdown to 41 starts - I CAN make my goal by my birthday in March! I have been diagnosis with osteoarthritis in my neck and maybe a pinched nerve, but it will not stop me!

My cholesterol is DOWN 107 points to 139, I am OFF the cholesterol meds and down 13.5 lbs!

In May, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. This was probably the best thing that could have happen as it's forced me to REALLY get serious about the healthy eating - and it's showing! I'm down 10 lbs since May.

Looking for support to lose the weight - love to blog and know that writing about the stuggle will help.

I started with a weightloss blog on Yahoo 360 (see blog entry with link to the page). I enjoyed it and found success, BUT Yahoo is very limited in the popularity and for about the last year, Yahoo said it was going to change 360, but hasn't yet.

BTW - I LOVE Diet Coke - you will see A LOT of it on my food log. It's my one vice.

JUST FOR TODAY, I will make a conscious effort to be agreeable. I will be kind and courteous to those who cross my path, and I'll not speak ill of others. I'll improve my appearance, speak softly, and not interrupt when someone else is talking. Just for today, I'll refrain from improving anybody but myself.

JUST FOR TODAY, I will do something positive to improve my health. If I'm a smoker, I'll quit. If I'm overweight, I'll eat healthily � if only just for today. And not only that, I'll get off the couch and take a brisk walk, even if it's only around the block.

This is something that Dr. Drew state on Celebrity Rehab when someone asked him how someone can overcome an addiction (food in my case) which will lead to a better outcome:

* create structure
* have more treatment
It just hit home with me that it can be used for any addiction.

((A.K.A. turtle steps to achieve my goals)
~Change the evening routine by making a list of things to do in the evening to keep me active.
~Keep reminders of the goal in view (i.e., WW bookmark, keep SP website open, etc).
~Water first thing in the morning (fill water bottle at night so that it's there first thing in the morning when I get ready for work).
~increase walking with Pups from 1.5 miles/day to 2 miles/day (revised 12/29/09)
~Eat like I was at my goal weight (130 BMR is 1335 calories/day plus activities) (moved from future turtle steps on 8/27/09)

    Hi there! Thanks for the comment on my SparkPage. As much as I hate to admit, the job has proven to be a good opportunity, though the company is insane. Certifiable. There are still days I wish I'd just stayed put, but I didn't...so I'm forging ahead.... Really, in the end, that's all we can do.
