I've been on SparkPeople before...I had some success but I allowed life to get in my way. I kept trying to restart, but found myself struggling and 'restarting' on a daily basis.

I've decided to restart completely and make this completely about myself and my health...I'm doing this and getting rid of the guilt of failure.

Life is hard without a doubt - That fact is not going to change so I have to find a way to go forward through the tough times. I'm going to use this restart as a way to make this work for me.

I am 49 and 5'7". I live in a very small community, Packwood, WA. I own my own businesses.

I was successful in losing 44 pounds in 2008 in 5 months time here on SP. I had a lot of personal challenges occur all at once - I allowed them to puch me off course. I gained all but a pound back.

In September of this year, I tried to come back but I wasn't ready to commit to focusing on myself yet.

On Dec. 14th, I decided to reach out and make myself a priority!
