I am working very hard to accomplish a healthy life style. I ride my recumbent bike and my out door bike most days..making a total distance of 6-8 miles logged. I am incorporating walking too..This has been a huge challenge for me. I don't walk well..( a catch 22..I am overweight so its hard to walk..so I don't walk..and when I don't walk I gain more weight and my ability to walk is diminished. I NEED to walk..I started out slowly..only 1/4 the first day of walking on the school track..then biking home to do a mile with the DVD Leslie Sansone's Walk Diet. Like I said its a challenge..and I am not perfect with my walking..but I am doing it !! ..

I am living in New Zealand and I have never heard of this: "clear jel works wonderfully in jams..and that product replaces pectin..not only is the cost less." Please do tell. What is the trade name, how do you buy it and when and where do you use it? I am a freezing girl. I cook bulk, make portions and freeze. I love not to have to clean pots and pans every day. I also love the variety in the freexer so my family and pick and chose. I love the fact that the portions are controlled. It is working a treat for us.

I figured that you were a "team leader" for the PRISM group... where are the leaders? You should replace them... they are apparently gone, How can we get that done? emoticon

Thank you for your comment, and support, on my blog! Because of Sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease; I have a weak immune system.

Although, I called myself being careful, mostly staying home, and staying away from sick people; I managed to pick up a severe infection, that, as my doctor put it, is raging through my body. He had wanted to hospitalize me, so that they could treat it, intravenously; however, if I can help it, and am able to say no, no more hospitals for me. Therefore, he placed me on a very strong antibiotic (the pill is humongous, for a horse, I say); and I have to take it for 10 days, twice per day. He told me to take it right before I eat my meals; and that it will make me feel really sick, and/or cramp up my stomach. However, I must have a cast iron stomach because I haven't felt any of this (knock on wood). I just pray that it is working.

Anyway, it just feels good to have a green light, from my doctor, to exercise, again! I really missed it; even if it was only for a couple of days! lol

I noticed you on the PRISM team, are you following the PRISM program? I would like the PRISM team to be more active.
