This is me at 238lbs. It's the only pre-picture I have. I wish I had a whole body shot of the 'before'.

I've been heath conscious for over a year now. May 2006 I weighed 238lbs, and through A LOT of hard work, I am now at 160lbs. Losing has gotten really difficult for me as of late. I'm hoping this site will help me finish off my last bit. I'm in this for the long run. This is about a change of life, and I feel so much better already.

I'm looking for a little support, and tips to help me a long the way.

Anyone can do ANYTHING.....It's all about determination.

My Goals:
I have a lot of goals. I'm determined to become more confident about myself. I don't really have a specific weight I'd like to be, I just figure I'll know it when I get there.

Also, I am going to school to become an Elementary Teacher. I graduate June 2009, and one of my goals include landing a teaching job. I love teaching!!

About four months ago I took up Tae Kwon Do. This is a form of martial arts that focuses on kicking. It relieves a lot of stress, offers fitness on an extreme level, and teaches self-defense. My goal is to continue with this and become a black belt one day!

My Program:
I eat around 1500 calories a day. At least 4 times a week I go to Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing. This is my main form of fitness.

Personal Information:
I'm from Fraser, MI. Next week I'll be 24 years old!

I have a loving boyfriend who's very supportive of my goals, and one day I hope to take our relationship to the next level.

I love animals, computers, video games, reading, and fitness.

Other Information:
"This one step -- choosing a goal and sticking to it -- changes everything."

"Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything."

"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. "
